Lagos - The female student of the Obafemi Awolowo University who was suspected to have manifested
symptoms of the Ebola virus and moved to Lagos State has tested negative to the virus, Punch reports.
The student who hails from Port Harcourt, Rivers
State was said to have had contact with Dr. Iyke Enemuo who died of the Ebola virus after treating an ECOWAS diplomat in a hotel room.
The Public Relations Officer of the OAU, Abiodun
Olanrewaju, said the preliminary result of the girl
came out negative, but another test will be conducted on Friday to affirm her health status.
